Kelly McGarry, New Zealand mountain biker, Died at 33

Kelly McGarry was born on April 17, 1982, in Nelson, New Zealand. and died on February 1, 2016.

He was a professional New Zealand freeride mountain biker.

Kelly achieved second place in the 2013 Red Bull Rampage.

Kelly has been biking on the Fernhill Loop Track in Central Otago, New Zealand, when he suffered a cardiac arrest at 4.14 pm on 1 February 2016.

The paramedics from Queenstown were transported by air to the remote part of the track, approximately 45 minutes walk from the top of the Skyline Gondola after reports of a mountain biker suffering a “medical event”, St John Central Lakes territory manager Kelvin Perriman said.

Kelly McGarry passed away at 33yrs old.
