Jackson Beauregard Davis, Sr. was born on March 27, 1918, and died on August 22, 2016.
He was an American attorney based in Shreveport, Louisiana,
Jackson B. Davis served as a Democrat in the Louisiana State Senate from 1956 to 1980.
During the 90’s, Davis was still practicing law and was active in community affairs, often addressing public gatherings.
Jackson was a survivor of the World War II Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
Davis and his wife, the former Rosemary Slattery, whom he wed in 1944, have four children,
