Yagya Datt Sharma was born in 1936 and died in May 2016.
He was an Indian politician from the state of Madhya Pradesh of India.
Yagya represented Indore-4 constituency to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the first time as an independent candidate in 1967, Indore-2 in 1977 from Indian National Congress.
Then, again represented Indore-4 in 1980.
During the early 1980s, Yagya Datt Sharma became Speaker of the State lower house, but had to quit from his speaker-ship on the proved charges of illegal land acquisition in his constituency.
Yagya Datt Sharma resigned on 19 July 1983; Arjun Singh was Chief Minister at that time.
Yagya Datt Sharma passed away at 80 yrs old.
