Wallace Dollase, American horse trainer, Died at 78

Wallace A. “Wally” Dollase was born on August 1, 1937, and died on October 30, 2015.

He was an American trainer and owner of Thoroughbred racehorses.

Among his numerous Graded stakes race wins, Dollase won the 1996 Breeders’ Cup Distaff with Jewel Princess who was voted that year’s Eclipse Award as the American Champion Older Female Horse.

Wallace and his wife Cincy have a son and three daughters, all involved in the horse racing industry.

Both son Craig and daughter Aimee are trainers.

Wallace passed away on October 30, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
