Thomas Norman Lister was born on October 27, 1943, in Ashburton and died on July 23, 2017.

He was a New Zealand rugby union player.

Lister represented the All Blacks between 1968 and 1971.

Lister’s position of choice was flanker.

He temporarily retired from first-class rugby in 1972, but returned to represent his province for the next two seasons.

Later, Lister coached the South Canterbury under-18 side.

He died in Timaru.

Thomas Norman Lister passed away at 73 years old.
