Sione Lauaki, Tongan-born New Zealand rugby union player, Died at 35


Sione Tuitupu Lauaki was born on June 22, 1981, and died on February 12, 2017.

He was a Tongan-born New Zealand rugby union footballer.

He was a player for Bayonne.

Previously, Lauaki played for the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks.

Sione Lauaki’s brother, Epalahame Lauaki, is a 2nd row rugby league footballer previously playing for Hull in the Super League competition.

His death was possibly due to heart and kidney problems

Sione Lauaki passed away at 35 years old.
