René “Pepsi” Landry was born on May 21, 1937, in Moncton, New Brunswick, and died on August 2, 2016.

He was a political figure in New Brunswick, Canada.

Landry represented Moncton North in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick as a Progressive Conservative member.

He is the son of Léonie LeBlanc and Wilfred Landry.

He was educated at the University of Ottawa, the Université de Moncton and Sir George Williams University.

René worked for the Moncton Boys and Girls Club and then worked as a facilities coordinator for the city of Moncton.

Jacqueline Gagnon was his wife.

René bid for reelection to the provincial assembly in 2003 was unsuccessful.

During 2004, René Landry was elected to the Moncton City Council.

René was named to the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission in 2006.

René Landry passed away at 79 years old.
