Robert ‘Rab’ Stewart was born on January 3, 1962, and died in August 2016.

He was a Scottish footballer who played as a forward.

He started his senior career with Dunfermline Athletic in 1981.

Rab was best known for his goal for the then Second Division outfit against Rangers at Ibrox in the third round of the 1983-84 Scottish Cup.

That gave them the shock lead before two late Rangers goals ended the Pars hopes of a major upset.

He also played for Motherwell, Falkirk and Queen of the South.

Rab Stewart passed away at 54 years old.
