Norwegian author, Jon Michelet, Died at 73


Jon Michelet was born on July 14, 1944, in Moss and died on April 14, 2018, in Oslo.

He was a Norwegian novelist.

Michelet has had experience in various lines of work, including sailor and brewery worker and references to these experiences can be found in his writing.

Michelet was well known for his action-thriller novel Orion’s Belt (1977).

The novel was adapted into a 1985 film by the same name, which is regarded as Norway’s first modern action film.

Michelet resided in Larkollen and has been a minor ticket candidate for the Red Party.

Michelet had four daughters, Marte Michelet, who was married to Ali Esbati—a MP in Sweden as of 2014, and Tania Michelet, Ellen Michelet and Stella Michelet.

Jon Michelet died at 73 years old.
