Lonnie “Bo” Pilgrim, American businessman, Died at 89


Lonnie Alfred “Bo” Pilgrim was born on May 8, 1928 and died on July 21, 2017.

He was the founder of Pilgrim’s Pride, which at one time was the largest chicken producer in the United States.

He founded Pilgrim’s Pride when he opened a feed store in 1946 in Pittsburg, Texas, with his older brother, Aubrey.

He died in Pittsburg, Texas.
