Kim Jong-gil, South Korean poet, Died at 90


Kim Jong-gil was born on November 5, 1926, in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea and died on April 1, 2017

He was an early-modern South Korean poet.

He graduated from Korea University with undergraduate and graduate degrees in English Literature.

Jong-gil also conducted research in English Literature at Sheffield University.

He has worked as a professor at several universities including Chonggu University, Gyeongbuk University and Korea University.

Kim Jong-gil passed away at 90 years old.
