Jovanka Nikolić was born on December 16, 1952, and died on January 8, 2017.

She was a Serbian author of prose, poetry, and poetry for children.

Nikolić graduated from the College of Education (Physical Education) at the University of Novi Sad and the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade (Organization of stage, cultural and artistic activities).

Nikolić worked in the sport organization sector and was, for a long time, involved in designing sports choreography for public ceremonies at major sports and social events.

Nikolić wrote poetry, prose and children’s books.

She lived and worked in Novi Sad.

Jovanka Nikolić passed away at 64 years old.
