John Doull, American toxicologist, Died at 94

Dr. John Doull was born on September 13, 1922, and died on March 24, 2017.

He was Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Kansas.

He was an internationally recognized pioneer and leader in toxicology and medical education for almost 60 years.

He was a native of Baker, Montana.

Dr. Doull received a B.Sc. degree in chemistry from Montana State University in 1944, and after three years of service in the US Navy, he attended the University of Chicago and graduated with a PhD degree in pharmacology (1950) and an MD degree (1953).

While he was at the University of Chicago he developed his keen interest in toxicology.

John Doull passed away at 94 years old.
