Janusz Muniak was born on June 3, 1941, in Krakow, and died January 31, 2016.

He was a polish musician jazz saxophonist, flutist, arranger and composer.

Muniak made his debut in Lublin in 1960.

The 60s and 70s was a period of cooperation among with Tomasz Stanko, Andrzej Trzaskowski, Jan Jarczyk.

As of 1976, Janusz played with his own bands.

Janusz Muniak passed away at 74 yrs old.
