Jan Høiland was born on February 6, 1939, Stavanger, Norway and died on June 7, 2017, Sweden.

He was a Norwegian singer.

Jan lived for many years in Harstad.

His song “Tiotusen röda rosor” by Thore Skogman was Høiland’s biggest hit.

Høiland scored several chart successes in Norway.

After been accompanied by Finn Våland on piano, he made his debut at Cafe Inger in Stavanger in 1957, followed by his record debut “Det vil komme av seg selv”/”Dormi-dormi-dormi” (1958), on Columbia.

Jan Høiland passed away at 78 years old.
