Gert Trinklein was born on June 19, 1949 and died on July 11, 2017.

He was a German football player.

From the year 1969 to 1978, Trinklein appeared in 230 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt.

During 1979, Gert moved to the USA, becoming the third German soccer pro besides Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Müller.

As of 1985 Gert was an independent tradesman and merchandises at sport events.

Then in 2006 he was part of the FDP fraction in Frankfurt parliament.

Trinklein died in the night from the 11th to 12th July due to his Leukemia disease which was diagnosed in 2011.

Gert Trinklein passed away at 68 years old.
