Fredrik Skagen, Norwegian writer, Died at 80


Fredrik Skagen was born on December 30, 1936, in Trondheim and died on June 20, 2017.

He was a Norwegian writer.

Skagen best known for his crime fiction, but is also the author of some children’s books and several radio plays.

Skagen’s first book was published in 1968.

Skagen’s works have been translated into German, Danish, Swedish, Dutch and French.

He has received several awards, including the Norwegian Booksellers’ Prize in 1985 and the Glass Key Award in 1996 for best Nordic crime novel.

Fredrik Skagen passed away at 80 years old.
