Enzo Maiorca was born on June 21, 1931, in Syracuse, Sicilyand died on November 13, 2016.
He was an Italian free diver.
He held several world records.
He was a vegetarian.
In the Bay of Ieranto (or ‘Jeranto’) on September 22, 1974 at the Western end of the Gulf of Salerno, Maiorca attempted to establish a new world record for freediving, aiming for 90 meters
Enzo Maiorca was elected to the Senate for the Alleanza Nazionale party, from 1994 to 1996.
He also appeared on Lineablu, a RAI broadcast news series, from 2000 to 2002.
Enzo Maiorca passe away at 85 years old.
