Danish film director, Palle Kjærulff-Schmidt, Died at 86


Palle Kjærulff-Schmidt was born on July 7, 1931, and died on March 14, 2018.

He was a Danish film director and screenwriter.

Kjærulff-Schmidt has directed 32 films between 1957 and 1995.

Kjærulff-Schmidt’s 1964 film To was entered into the 15th Berlin International Film Festival.

After two years, Kjærulff-Schmidt’s 1967 film Story of Barbara was entered into the 17th Berlin International Film Festival.

During 1965 Kjærulff-Schmidt co-produced the film 4×4 and it was entered into the 4th Moscow International Film Festival.

The news was announced on 14 March 2018 that Kjærulff-Schmidt had died after a short illness at the age of 86.
