Carlos Milcíades Villalba Aquino, Paraguayan Roman Catholic prelate, Died at 91


Carlos Milcíades Villalba Aquino was born on August 22, 1924, and died on January 8, 2016.

He was a Roman Catholic bishop.

Carlos received philosophical and theological education at the Diocesan Seminary of the Diocese of San Pedro.

He was ordained priest on November 28, 1948,

Carlos Milcíades Villalba Aquino was appointed the bishop of San Juan Bautista, on July 25, 1978, by Pope Paul VI.

Villalba Aquino was the founder in 1984 of the first Benedictine monastery in Paraguay.

He confirmed his resignation on July 22, 1999, to John Paul II, due to his age.
