Canadian country music singer, Ronnie Prophet, Died at 80


Ronald Lawrence Victor Prophet was born on 26 December 1937 and died on 2 March 2018.

He was a Canadian-born country musician and comedy performer.

He lived in Calumet, Quebec, as a child.

Ronnie started performing at local venues in his youth.

Prophet successful musical career began in the mid-1960s, in the United States.

He has performed in many Canadian television productions during the 70s, including Grand Old Country and The Ronnie Prophet Show.

He lived in Branson, Missouri, and was married to musician Glory-Anne Carriere.

He died on 2 March 2018 at his home in Florida due to a cardiac and kidney failure.

Prophet died at 80 years old.
