Cambodian politician, Cheam Channy, Died at 57

Cheam Channy was born on February 15, 1961, and died on October 25, 2018.

He was a Cambodian lawmaker and individual from parliament for the resistance Sam Rainsy Party (SRP).

He was chosen as an agent for Battambang Province in the 1998 National Elections, on the other hand for Kompong Cham region in 2003.

King Norodom Sihamoni decreased Cheam’s sentence from seven years’ detainment to three years, on February 2, 2006. After four days, Cheam got a full regal to exculpate and was discharged from jail.

The U.S. State Department commended the acquit, considering it a “positive turn”.

Cheam passed on October 25, 2018.

Cheam Channy had been experiencing a cerebrum tumor that along with these lines spread to his digestive organs.

Cheam Channy passed away at 57 years old.
