C. Alan Rowe born 1931 and died on November 5, 2015.

Rowe, a graduate of LaSalle High School class of 1949 and Villanova University class of 1953, was a American college basketball coach at Widener University.

C. Alan Rowe, in his career producing 536 career victories over 33 seasons.

Rowe teams reached the NCAA tournament 11 times, and were in the top 20 in the nation in fewest points allowed a couple of dozen times.

During his time at Widener University he twice got to the final four and reached the College Division title game in 1978.
Alan coached at five high schools before taking the position at Widener.

He owned the Dairy Queen on Route 320 in Springfield, Delaware County, for years.

C. Alan Rowe left his wife Gail and children, Kathy, Kelly, Jeff, and Jim.

Before he died he was teaching five Widener math courses a semester.

C. Alan Rowe passed away on November 5, 2015.
