Ayaz Jani (original name Ayaz Hussain Memon) was born on October 4, 1967, and died on June 6, 2016.

He was a poet and journalist in the Sindhi language.

Jani had been writing poetry since his school days and gained popularity as a romantic poet.

He began his profession as the assistant editor in the monthly Saras (Sindhi: سارس‎) magazine and released 6 issues.

During 1997, Jani joined as Editor in the monthly Lahroon (Sindhi: لهرون‎), also a literary magazine in the Sindhi language.

Ayaz also released monthly Hamarcho (Sindhi: همرچو‎)

He wrote poetry in the field of Sindhi Ghazal and Vai.

And he also wrote poetry on romanticism and the everyday life of Sindhi culture.

Ayaz Jani died due to a heart attack.

Ayaz Jani passed away at 48 yrs old.
