Australian rules footballer, Fred Burge, Died at 95

Fred Burge was born on September 6, 1923, and died on November 7, 2018.

He was an Australian rules footballer

He played for Richmond in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Fred Burge touched base from Castlemaine, played in two thousand finals right off the bat in his profession, in spite of not being a normal individual from the side.

Burge was on a forward pocket in the 1942 VFL Grand Final, his 6th alliance diversion and began from a similar position in the 1944 Grand Final, which was only his fifteenth appearance for Richmond.

His side lost on the two events.

Burge had his leap forward year in 1945, kicking 55 objectives from his 20 appearances, which made him Richmond’s driving objective kicker for the season.

A meanderer, he played with the club until the 1951 pre-season, when he endured genuine knee damage practically speaking.

Fred Burge passed away at 95 years old.
