Arif Baig was born in 1935, and died on September 5, 2016.
He was a federal Indian minister (1977–1980) and a Bharatiya Janta Party leader.
Arif Beg hails from Madhya Pradesh state.
Beg had left the party in 1996, however, returned to his post in 2003.
During 1977 he ran for parliament on the Bharatiya Lok Dal ticket from Bhopal and won the seat.
During 1989 he was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Betul constituency.
He died in Bhopal.
Arif Beg passed away at 81 years old.
