Anne Golon, French author, Died at 95


Anne Golon was born Simone Changeux on December 17, 1921, in Toulon and died on July 14, 2017.

She was a French author.

She was better known to English-speaking readers as Sergeanne Golon.

Golon was most known for a series of novels about a heroine called Angelique.

She was reduced to a state close to poverty and filed a lawsuit against the French publisher Hachette for abuse of copyright and for her unpaid royalties.

Anne Golon passed away at 95 years old.
