Angela Raiola, American television personality , Died at 55


Angela Raiola/ Big Ang died on February 18, 2016.

She was American television personality.

She was included in the series Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, who first received television exposure on the second season of the reality series Mob Wives.

Angela Raiola owned a bar called bar Drunken Monkey in Staten Island, New York for seven years.

Her uncle, the late Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi, was a captain of the Genovese crime family.

The series, Mob Wives, premiered July 8, 2012, on VH1.

She had earlier confirmed during an interview in May 2013 that a second season of Big Ang was being produced, but it was later revealed that the season would be retooled as another spin-off titled Miami Monkey, which premiered on September 8, 2013.

She also announced that she had throat cancer and was undergoing treatment and surgery.

During last December, the reality star learned that  the cancer had returned, spreading to her brain and right lung.

Her husband was Neil Murphy.

She left behind her two children and grand children.

Big Ang passed away at 55 yrs old.
