American football player, Bob Skoronski, Died at 84

Robert Francis “Bob” Skoronski was born on March 5, 1934, in Ansonia, Connecticut and died in October 2018.

He was a former American football player.

He played tackle in the National Football League for the Green Bay Packers for eleven seasons.

He attended high school at Fairfield College Preparatory School in Connecticut and played college football at Indiana University in Bloomington.

He was a senior in 1955, he was the Hoosiers’ most valuable player and averaged fifty minutes per game.

After his eleventh season in the NFL, he retired in June 1969 and was elected to the Packers Hall of Fame in 1976.

During 2017, the Professional Football Researchers Association named Skoronski to the PFRA Hall of Very Good Class of 2017

Bob Skoronski passed away at 84 years old.
