Yves Vincent was born on August 5, 1921, in Thônes and died on January 6, 2016.

He was a French film and television actor.

Yves was luckier at the theater where he appeared and among other plays, alongside Arletty in the French adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ “A streetcar named Desire”(Un tramway nommé Désir) and with Edwige Feuillère in “La Dame aux Camélias”.

Mr. Vincenat has also done a lot of work on television where he often embodied figures of authority.

In the year 1944, Yves made his first movie in Cairo with his mother as a partner.

Following the war, he debuted in France as a leading man, his good looks, and his fine presence boosting his career from the start.

Vincent retired in 1991.

Yves Vincent had two daughters, who were Dominique (born 1950) and, with second wife Nelly Borgeaud, Isabelle (born in 1956).

Yves Vincent passed away at 95 yrs old.
