Yuri Alexandrovich Bychkov was born on September 1, 1931, Lopasnya, and died on April 18, 2016, Moscow.

He was an art historian.

Yuri was a member of the Union of Artists and the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation, director of writer’s house museum Melikhovo in 1994-2004.

Bychkov graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute.

He authored of the idea, the pioneer of tourism Golden Ring.

He was a co-founder of VOOPIK (All-Russian Society for Historic Preservation and Cultural Organization).

Yuri Bychkov died in Moscow.
