Yevgeny Dzhugashvili, Russian-Georgian activist and politician, Died at 80

Yevgeny Yakovlevich Dzhugashvili was born on January 10, 1936, and died on December 22, 2016.

He was a Soviet Air Force colonel.

Yevgeny Dzhugashvili the son of Yakov Dzhugashvili, the eldest son of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, and has gained note as a defender of his grandfather’s reputation.

During the 1999 elections of the Russian State Duma, he was one of the faces of the Stalin Bloc – For the USSR, a league of communist parties.

Dzhugashvili resided in Georgia, his grandfather’s homeland.

Yevgeny Dzhugashvili passed away at 80 years old.
