Wolfgang Solz was born on February 12, 1940, and died on March 24, 2017.

He was a German professional football winger.

He was an Oberliga team member, from the 1959–60 campaign on.

On December 6, 1959, Solz debuted as left winger against SSV Reutlingen.

In the European Cup final match in Glasgow against Real Madrid on 18 May 1960 he was benched.

Wolfgang Solz passed away at 77 years old.
