William T. "Bill" Hanna, American politician, Died at 86

William Thomas “Bill” Hanna, Jr. was born on September 26, 1930, in Kansas City, Missouri and died on December 17, 2016.
He was a Ford Motor Company automobile dealer.
He served a single term from 1978 to 1982 as the Democratic mayor of Shreveport in Caddo Parish in northwestern Louisiana.
William parents were William Hanna, Sr., and the former Irma Belle Adams, he came to Shreveport with his parents at the age of three months.
Hanna graduated in 1947 from C. E. Byrd High School in Shreveport and enrolled at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
William became a lifelong Tigers partisan, while he was there.
Hanna played on the LSU baseball team from 1949 to 1951.
Following his graduation, he played shortstop on several minor league teams before he returned to Shreveport to joining his father in the automobile business.
William T. “Bill” Hanna passed away at 86 years old.
