Wenche Lowzow, Norwegian LGBT activist and politician, Died at 90

Wenche Bryn Lowzow was born on May 27, 1926, and died on September 27, 2016.

She was a Norwegian politician.

Lowzow was a member of the Norwegian parliament as a representative from Oslo from 1977 to 1985.

After the same-sex civil unions were accepted by Norwegian law in 1993, Lowzow and her partner, author and activist Karen-Christine Friele, were among the first to formalize their relationships.
