Walt Dziedzic

American politician Walt Dziedzic was born on November 29, 1932, and died on November 24, 2018.

Walt Dziedzic served on the Minneapolis city chamber from 1976 until his retirement in 2010.

Preceding entering governmental issues, Dziedzic put in 50 years as a cop and auditor. He was likewise a Commissioner of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.

He experienced childhood in the network of Northeast, Minneapolis and went to Edison High School where he was an all-city competitor and earned nine letters in football, baseball, and hockey.

Dziedzic served in the Army amid the Korean War attended and was served at Panmunjom when the Korean Armistice Agreement was agreed upon.

Walt Dziedzic played proficient baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers for three seasons previously going to the College of St. Thomas.

After graduation, Walt attended DeLaSalle High School amid the 1960-61 school year.

Dziedzic wedded Patricia McCarthy before joining the Minneapolis Police Department.

For his 16 years as an officer, he and worked his way up from Inspector of Police, at that point lieutenant specialist, and later theft criminologist.

In 1976, Dziedzic kept running for an open First Ward board situate. He served on the Minneapolis city board speaking to Northeast, Minneapolis for a long time.

Dziedzic at that point served on the Park Board for an additional 12 years where he persuaded Jim Lupient to build up a waterpark in Northeast Minneapolis later named Jim Lupient Waterpark.

He was a prime supporter of Art A Whirl and originator of “Seniors Day at the Dome.” He attempted to make the Quarry Shopping Center, the biggest retail advancement in Minneapolis outside of downtown at the season of its development in the late 1990s.

He had six youngsters, three young men, and three young ladies.

His girl, Kari Dziedzic, was chosen to the Minnesota Senate in a January 2012 extraordinary race.

His child, Joe Dziedzic, played two years in the National Hockey League for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Dziedzic died of natural causes at the North Memorial Medical Center.

Walt Dziedzic passed away at 85 years old.
