Vladimir Sergeyevich Yumin was born on December 18, 1951, in Omsk and died on March 4, 2016, in Kaspiysk.

He was a Soviet Russian wrestler and Olympic champion in Freestyle wrestling.

He competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal.
