Vladimir Nikolaevich Nemukhin was born on February 12, 1925, in Moscow, and died on April 19, 2016.

He was a Russian artist.

Vladimir Nikolaevich Nemukhin was associated with the Lianozovo Circle along with Oscar Rabin, Valentina Kropivnitskaia and Lidiya Masterkova.

Vladimir worked as an interior designer, from 1952 to 1956.

He met Oskar Rabin, In 1956, with whom he met with a group of like-minded artists and poets whose primary meeting place was Rabin’s apartment.

Because Rabin lived in the barracks in a small village, Lianozovo, the group is commonly known as the Lianozovo Group.

Together they met at the village of Priluki on the banks of the Oka River, where Nemukhin’s father was born and where Nemukhin still owns a summer house.

Nemukhin attended the 1958 exhibit of American art in Moscow, in 1958, which featured the Abstract Expressionism of Jackson Pollock and Wiliam De Koonig.

And followed by his first real abstract work in the year 1959.

Vladimir Nemukhin passed away at 90 yrs old.
