Valeriu Bularca was born on February 14, 1931 and died on February 7, 2017.

He was a retired Greco-Roman wrestler from Romania.

Bularca competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics and won a silver medal in 1964.

During 1961, Bularca became the first Romanian wrestler to win a world title.

Besides his job, Bularca collected six national titles between 1957 and 1964.

Following his retirment from competitions he worked as a wrestling coach at CS Steagu Roșu in Brașov.

Valeriu Bularca passed away at 85 years old.
