The band Nensi, was established in 1992 in the city of Kostiantynivka (Donetsk Oblast) by the artist lyricist Anatoly Bondarenko.

On January 31, 2016, one of the band individuals, Sergey Bondarenko, was captured in Sheremetyevo International Airport, when coming back to Russia from Germany, being blamed for security dangers to Russia.
