Trento Longaretti, Italian painter, Died at 100

Trento Longaretti was born on March 29, 1917, and died on June 7, 2017.

He was an Italian painter.

Longaretti studied at the Brera Academy in the 1930s, where he was taught by renowned artists including painters Aldo Carpi and Pompeo Borra, and sculptors Francesco Messina and Marino Marini.

Longaretti stated that painting is an “elixir for long life”, and continued to paint and exhibit as a centenarian.

During 1945, he married Elsa Ferrari, with whom he had three children.

Trento Longaretti passed away at 100 years old.
