Tōru Ōhira, Japanese voice actor, Died at 86


Tōru Ōhira was born on September 29, 1929, and died on April 12, 2016.

He was a male Japanese narrator and voice actor from the Tokyo Metropolitan Area.

Toru was the founder of Ōhira Production and was also attached to 81 Produce.

The voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars on the home video releases was one of his most known roles.

Ōhira was also known for his many narration roles, most notably in the Super Sentai series.

Tōru Ōhira passed away at 86 yrs old.
