Keith Anthony “Tony” Phillips was born on April 25, 1959, and died on February 17, 2016, in Arizona.

He was an American professional baseball utility player.

From 1982 to 1999, he had an 18-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career.

Tony Phillips played frequently at three infield positions, primarily as a second baseman, but also had significant time as a shortstop and third baseman.

Tony also played in over 100 games as a left fielder, right fielder, and designated hitter.

Tony Phillips passed away at 56 yrs old due to a heart attack.
