Thomas Ross was born on February 27, 1946, and died on May 19, 2017.

He was a Scottish professional footballer.

Ross played as an inside forward in the Football League for Peterborough United and York City, in the Highland League for Ross County and in non-League football for Wigan Athletic and Scarborough.

Ross holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to score a hat-trick, having scored three goals within a 90-second period when playing for Ross County against Nairn County on 28 November 1964.

Tommy’s death was reported by St Duthus FC.
