Tomiko Okazaki was born on born February 16, 1944 and died on March 19, 2017.
She was a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature).
She native of Fukushima, Fukushima and high school graduate, she worked at TV and radio stations.
During 1990, Okazaki was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time as a member of the Japan Socialist Party.
Okazaki lost her seat in 1996 but was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 1997.
Tomiko Okazaki passed away at 73 years old.
