Tomaž Pandur was born on February 19, 1963, in Maribor, Yugoslavia, and died on April 12, 2016, Skopje, Macedonia.

He was a Slovenian theatre director.

Whilst he was a student of “Prva gimnazija v Mariboru” high school he established his own theatre group “Tespisov voz – Novo slovensko gledališče”.

Tomaž Pandur graduated on AGRTF in 1988.

Tomaž Pandur’s “Scheherazade” in 1988 was a sensation.

During 1989, Tomaz became art director of theatre in Maribor.

The rumours regarding his financial matters caused him to leave, he left Slovenia and moved to New York, U.S., where he was living until 1990.

During last years of his life, he lived and worked in Madrid, Spain.

Tomaž Pandur passed away at 53 yrs old.
