Tom Mullica was born on August 19, 1948, in Waupun, Wisconsin and died on February 18, 2016.

He was a comedy magician and impressionist.

He work on television specials, and appeared on television many times including Late Night with David Letterman, World’s Greatest Magic, Viva Variety, and Penn & Teller’s Sin City.

Some of his most famous appearances were on Late Night with David Letterman, on which he performed his popular impression effect of the manipulation and vanishing of several lit cigarettes in his mouth.

Tom Mullica was given $5,000 cash for winning the Siegfried & Roy Golden Lion Award at the Magic Desert Seminar in Las Vegas, in 1984.

Tom also played at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and toured the US and Canada with RED – A Performance Tribute, a Red Skelton Tribute show which Mullica wrote and starred in as Red Skelton and his characters.

However, RED was the only Red Skelton tribute show authorized by the Red Skelton Estate.

In July 2013, Tom participated in the Red Skelton Museum & Education Center.

Tom Mullica passed away at 67 yrs old.
