Tim Couzens was born in 1944 and died in 2016.

He was a South African literary and social historian, and travel writer

Tim won a number of awards for his works.

Couzens was employed in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

He authored 16 distinct works.

He was also involved in the publication of Nelson Mandela’s “Conversations With Myself.
