Edward Joel McCaskill was born on October 29, 1936, and died on March 3, 2016.

He was a professional ice hockey player.

Ted played four games in the National Hockey League and 91 games in the World Hockey Association.

McCaskill played with the Minnesota North Stars, and he then served as player-coach with the Los Angeles Sharks.

He played junior hockey with the Kitchener Canucks and later the Kapuskasing Huskies.

After that, he made the move to the UK, playing two years in the British Ice Hockey Elite League.

Following his returning to the US, Ted became a dominate force with the Nashville Dixie Flyers, and his offensive prowess earned the attention of NHL clubs.

But then, he would spend most of his time in the Western Hockey League with the Vancouver Canucks and Phoenix Roadrunners.

McCaskill was the father of MLB pitcher Kirk McCaskill.

McCaskill passed away at 79 yrs old in Phoenix, Arizona, .
