Tatiana Zatulovskaya, Soviet-born Israeli chess player, Died at 81

Tatiana Yakovlevna Zatulovskaya was born on December 8, 1935 and died on July 2, 2017.

He was an Israeli (formerly Soviet and Russian) chess player.

Zatulovskaya once held the title of Woman Grandmaster (WGM) and was twice women’s senior world champion.

Tatiana last name may also be spelled as Zatulovskaia or Zatulovskaja.

She was a three-time winner of the Women’s Soviet Chess Championship (1960, 1962, and 1963).

During 1961, Zatulovskaya was awarded by FIDE the title of Woman International Master (WIM). In 1976, Zatulovskaya became a Woman Grandmaster.

She represented the USSR at the 1963 and 1966 Women’s Chess Olympiads.

Tatiana Zatulovskaya passed away at 81 years old.
